thinking about taylor thirteen years ago recording ‘long live’ for her band and saying like obviously this isn’t sustainable so please remember me and tell your children stories about the experiences we had together and now taylors putting that song back into the world literally in the middle of her most successful tour of all time with some of her same band members still there every night supporting her
people are saying they hope taylor leaves off innocent or changes the lyrics in better than revenge and I’d just like to remind everyone that this is a project to reclaim history, not rewrite it. that means revisiting her thoughts, feelings, and hopes, the good and the bad, whether they were wrong or unfair or embarrassing. they were true once, and that’s what matters
